His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labour, Mukhtar Al-Yafaei, today met at the Ministry's headquarters in the interim capital, Aden, with Eng. Omar Mukhair, Chairman of the Hadhramout Branch of the Engineers Syndicate, to discuss the current status and affairs of the syndicate.

During the meeting, Minister Al-Yafaei was briefed on the syndicate's work plan for the upcoming period, which includes key priorities related to institutional development, enhancing the engineers' database, and advancing the services provided to its members.

Minister Al-Yafaei underscored the importance of trade union work as an institutional framework for safeguarding rights and improving the work environment. He called for strengthening the role of the syndicate and enhancing its performance within a comprehensive and well-regulated legal framework, enabling it to effectively fulfill its professional and organizational responsibilities while serving its members and protecting their rights in accordance with the law.
