Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Meets Sheikh Bin Jarhoum and Tammah, Praises Community Initiatives

His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mukhtar Al-Yafai, met today in the capital, Aden, with Sheikh Naif Bin Jarhoum Al-Yazidi and community activist Waddah Tammah. The meeting aimed to review the humanitarian and community initiatives that have been implemented as part of efforts to enhance the values of social solidarity.
His Excellency Minister Al-Yafai praised these initiatives, affirming that they reflect the deeply-rooted values of solidarity and mutual support within the community. He stated that they represent a humanitarian effort worthy of appreciation and support. The Minister pointed out that the Ministry encourages such initiatives, which help alleviate the burdens on those in need and low-income families, particularly given the challenging economic circumstances. He confirmed that the Ministry provides the necessary facilities to support these efforts, thereby strengthening social solidarity and contributing to addressing humanitarian issues.
His Excellency the Minister emphasized the importance of directing community initiatives towards supporting the most vulnerable and needy groups. He highlighted the vital role played by businessmen and philanthropists in promoting social solidarity, especially during the holy month, noting its significant impact in fostering a spirit of kinship, compassion, and cohesion among members of society.
