The 51st session of the Arab Labor Conference, held in the Egyptian capital Cairo, continues its proceedings for the fourth consecutive day, under the chairmanship of H.E. Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zawari, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and President of the Conference.
The conference is attended by the tripartite constituents—representatives of governments, employers' organizations, and labor union federations from Arab countries—within the framework of intensive discussions aimed at strengthening joint cooperation and advancing labor and workforce issues across the region.
The conference has reviewed reports from technical committees on conventions, recommendations, and comprehensive social policies, as well as discussions on economic clusters as a foundation for achieving sustainable development in the Arab world, in alignment with developmental goals and the national priorities of member states.
The sessions are scheduled to continue until this evening to finalize the remaining items on the agenda, amid strong emphasis on the importance of this session’s outcomes in shaping practical and inclusive policies that enhance the status of joint Arab labor action
