Yemeni Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Mohammed Al-Zaouri, affirmed that Saudi-Yemeni relations are deeply rooted in history, deriving their strength from the commonalities between the two brotherly peoples and nations. These ties go beyond shared religion and language to include the bonds of brotherhood and kinship. In an interview with his excellency, he stated that Saudi Arabia represents a support for Yemen in times of hardship and dire straits, serving as a living example of solidarity and brotherhood in facing the current challenges Yemen is undergoing. This is especially true after the declaration of the destructive war ignited by the Houthis on Yemen, in both the North and South. Saudi Arabia has played a leading role in extending bridges of cooperation to support the government and its institutions to advance, overcome the effects of the war, and confront the overwhelming economic, social, political, and military circumstances, working towards building a future dominated by stability and development. Minister Al-Zuaouri Participates in High-Level Dialogue on Disability and the Arab Exhibition for Productive Families in Doha
His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zuaouri, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, took part in the high-level Arab event on persons with disabilities, entrepreneurship, and innovation, as well as the third edition of the “Independent Living for Persons with Disabilities” initiative. The minister also attended the Arab Exhibition for Productive Families, held as part of the Second Global Summit for Social Development in Doha, Qatar, from November 6 to 8, 2025. The event was organized in collaboration with the Union of Arab Chambers and the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, represented by the Social Affairs Sector – Department of Development and Social Policies and the Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, in coordination with the United Nations.

Yemen's Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor Bans Dealings with "Supreme Council of Arab Youth - Yemen Branch
The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor has issued an official circular banning dealings with an unlicensed entity known as the "Supreme Council of Arab Youth - Yemen Branch." His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zaouri, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, directed the circular to the Ministers of Planning and International Cooperation, Youth and Sports, and Education. It was also circulated to undersecretaries and director-generals within the Ministry's central office, directors of the Ministry's branch offices in the governorates, and heads of the executive bodies of civil society organizations, associations, and student unions.

Ministerial Social Affairs Committee Visits the Care and Rehabilitation Center for the Deaf in Khormaksar City
The Ministerial Committee, tasked by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zaouri, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, with evaluating associations for people with disabilities in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, and Abyen, carried out a visit to the Care and Rehabilitation Association for the Deaf in Khormaksar City, the capital Aden. The association comprises seven education and training centers in the governorate's districts, operating with a combination of contractual teaching staff and volunteers, and with the participation of graduates from the College of Computer Science at the University of Aden.

Supervisory Committee Emanating from the Advisory Committee Approves Referring the Draft Management Project of the Social Protection Strategic Framework 2026–2030 to the Council of Ministers
The Supervisory Committee, emanating from the Social Protection Advisory Committee, held a meeting this morning at the Ministry's General Office. The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zaouri, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Chairman of the Social Protection Advisory Committee. At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister delivered a speech in which he praised the collaborative role of the Advisory Committee members, representing ministries, international organizations, and civil society organizations. He commended their efforts during the period of preparing the Social Protection Strategic Framework 2026-2030, which represents a comprehensive vision aimed at promoting justice and equal opportunities for all members of society.
