Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Mukhtar Al-Yafei discussed today, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the capital, Aden, with the Nahd Development Foundation ways to strengthen coordination in the areas of social protection and humanitarian response, and to direct interventions toward the most vulnerable groups in line with actual priorities and needs. Minister Al-Yafei was briefed by Ibrahim Jamaan, Director General of the Foundation, on its activities in food and shelter assistance and its response to the needs of internally displaced persons (IDPs), particularly in Wadi Hadramout. He also outlined the Foundation’s projects in water and healthcare, as well as its previous contribution to the funding of an electronic platform.
