Yemeni Minister of Social Affairs and Labour to "Okaz": Saudi Support Carries a Clear Message Reflecting the Depth of Brotherly Relations... and Enhances Confidence and Stability

The Minister of Social Affairs and Labour in the Yemeni government, Mukhtar Al-Yafie, praised the recent generous support announced by Saudi Arabia. In an exclusive statement to "Okaz," he clarified that this support constitutes a genuine catalyst to empower state institutions to carry out their duties efficiently and competently, and works to elevate the level of services provided to citizens.
▪️ Support for the Government Budget
He stated that the recently announced Saudi support, amounting to 1.3 billion Riyals, comes at an important time and during extremely difficult circumstances the country is going through. He added that the Saudi support carries a clear message reflecting the depth of brotherly relations and enhances the climate of confidence and stability. He pointed to the pivotal importance of this support on the path to economic recovery, through its reinforcement of the public budget, securing salaries and government expenditures, enhancing public services, and strengthening the pillars of security and stability.

In the context of his speech to "Okaz," the Minister of Social Affairs, Mukhtar Al-Yafie, expressed his appreciation to the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and its honorable people, for their consistent and supportive stances.
He stated that today the responsibility is doubled for everyone to elevate the level of performance and translate this trust into tangible results that citizens can feel, preserving it through diligent work and commitment to meeting the aspirations of the citizens.

He affirmed that the government faces significant responsibilities in proceeding with the implementation of comprehensive reforms that citizens aspire to, benefiting from Saudi support in achieving economic recovery, advancing the country's situation, and working to improve the level of services. He pointed out that his priorities lie in advancing the situation of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour to carry out its duties, enhancing its effective presence in serving citizens, and strengthening the social protection system and serving the poorest groups.
