Official Warning Regarding a Fraudulent Website Impersonating the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in the capital, Aden, issues an important warning to all citizens regarding the circulation of a suspicious electronic link on certain social media platforms.
The link falsely claims to offer financial assistance and food baskets in exchange for registration and the submission of personal data under the Ministry’s name.
The Ministry affirms that the circulated link is fraudulent and bears no affiliation whatsoever to the Ministry or its offices in the governorates.
It falls attempts of electronic fraud aimed at luring citizens and unlawfully exploiting their personal information.
The Ministry urges citizens to exercise caution and vigilance, to refrain from accessing the aforementioned link, interacting with it, or sharing it further, and to report it immediately—as well as the parties responsible for promoting it—to the relevant authorities.
The Ministry also reiterates that any official announcements or support programs will be published exclusively through the Ministry’s official website and its accredited platforms, in addition to official media outlets.
It calls upon everyone to obtain information from trusted sources in order to avoid falling victim to electronic fraud schemes.
