The Social Protection Advisory Committee held its 28th meeting today in the capital, Aden, under the theme: "Protection is a Right for All", under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zaouri.


At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Minister for the Social Welfare Sector, Mr. Saleh Mahmoud Abu Suhail, conveyed the greetings of His Excellency the Minister to the committee members, wishing them continued success. He praised their consistent and active participation in the committee’s activities and expressed his appreciation to UNICEF for its ongoing support.


The meeting included a mini-workshop for committee members, during which expert Waleed Al-Hamri presented a detailed explanation on project planning mechanisms. This included defining the concept of a project, identifying target groups, setting general and specific objectives, as well as outlining the logical framework and measurement plans based on quantitative and qualitative indicators and verification tools.


Committee members were tasked with preparing project models specific to the ministries they represent, using the designated form, to be submitted within one week.


At the conclusion of the meeting, participants expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the practical knowledge and tools they gained in project preparation. They emphasized the importance of such workshops in enhancing their capacities and improving institutional
