Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Reviews Activities of the Ministry's Office in Wadi Hadhramaut and the Desert

His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Za'ouri, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, was briefed this morning on the activities and programs of the Ministry's office in Wadi Hadhramaut and the Desert. This occurred during his meeting at his office in the Ministry's General Directorate with the Director-General of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Wadi Hadhramaut and the Desert, Attorney Ahmed Abdullah Ba Hashwan.
Ba Hashwan presented to the Minister an overview of the social and humanitarian services provided by the office to community segments in the valley and desert. These services are delivered through a highly efficient administrative staff utilizing modern means to achieve social justice and sustainable economic development.
Minister Al-Za'ouri praised the role undertaken by the office's administration in supporting labor and community issues and in developing the office's institutional capacities to provide social services that meet the needs of the Hadhrami community in the valley and desert.
Minister Al-Za'ouri also expressed his great satisfaction with the state of security and stability prevailing in Wadi Hadhramaut and the Desert, following its liberation by the Southern Forces from the elements of the first military region affiliated with the Brotherhood, which collaborated with the terrorist Houthi militia. This collaboration involved protecting smuggling routes that for decades supplied the Houthi militia with weapons, drones, drugs, and all forms of illicit materials.
The Minister directed the Director of the Social Affairs Office in the Valley and Desert to redouble efforts to elevate performance through a new vision that accommodates the military, political, and social changes in Hadhramaut Governorate and the South in general, and to contribute to fully normalizing the humanitarian situation.
For his part, Ba Hashwan expressed his thanks and appreciation for the support and assistance provided by His Excellency the Minister to enhance and develop the office's work and to overcome difficulties hindering the implementation of its various activities. He conveyed to the Minister the greetings of the people of Wadi Hadhramaut and the Desert, who are witnessing a state of security and stability after the liberation of their land from the domination of the First Region and the Brotherhood terrorist groups and all those within their orbit. He praised the great victory achieved by the Southern military forces in their various formations, which represent a safety valve for the aspirations of the Southern people.
It is worth noting that this meeting is the first to be held by a minister in the government with the leadership of a ministerial office in Seiyun following the liberation of Wadi Hadhramaut and the Desert
