The meeting addressed the completion of training for social workers on the updated case management system manual, which had previously been implemented in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, and Al-Dhale, with an emphasis on the need to expand the program to include other governorates.

Minister Al-Zawari also reviewed the Ministry’s achievement in preparing an educational sign language dictionary for the deaf community, stressing the importance of printing and distributing it as a national educational reference for this group.

Minister Al-Zawari expressed his satisfaction with Save the Children’s decision to relocate its operations to the capital, Aden, and to close its office in Sana’a. He noted the importance of completing this transition by establishing the organization’s bank accounts in a bank recognized by the Central Bank in Aden.

This includes providing job vacancy details so that the Ministry may nominate qualified candidates and conduct the selection process.

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Al-Zawari welcomed the Country Director, praising the organization’s support for numerous social activities and programs in Yemen.

For his part, Mr. Mohammed Manaa expressed his appreciation for the strong partnership between the Ministry and the organization, commending the scale of programs and projects implemented, and affirming his commitment to completing joint activities.
