Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Reviews Humanitarian and Development Programs of Several Organizations and Associations in Marib

Today, the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Sadiq Al-Jamaei, reviewed the progress of work and the humanitarian and development programs being implemented by a number of organizations and associations operating in Marib Governorate. The field visit was accompanied by the Director General of the Governorate Office of Social Affairs and Labor, Abdulhakim Al-Qaisi.
The visit included the Saba Development Foundation, Kafel Humanitarian Development Charitable Foundation, Relief and Construction Forum, Marib Girls Foundation, and the Al-Khair Coalition for Humanitarian Relief. During the visit, the Deputy Minister listened to detailed presentations from the leadership and officials of these organizations regarding their humanitarian and development activities, programs, and projects implemented across various sectors to serve internally displaced persons (IDPs) and the most vulnerable groups in the governorate.
Dr. Al-Jamaei reviewed the most significant achievements and humanitarian interventions carried out by these organizations and associations, as well as the efforts made to alleviate the suffering of affected families and strengthen the humanitarian response under the current circumstances.
The Deputy Minister praised the vital role played by civil society organizations in implementing humanitarian and development projects, emphasizing that these institutions represent a key partner of the government in supporting development and relief efforts and in meeting the needs of targeted beneficiaries.
He also stressed the importance of enhancing coordination and partnership between government entities and humanitarian organizations in order to expand service delivery and achieve sustainable development impacts that benefit the local community.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister toured the departments and administrative units of the targeted organizations and associations, reviewed their work mechanisms and institutional performance, and listened to explanations regarding ongoing plans and programs, as well as efforts aimed at improving humanitarian work and enhancing the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
