Federation. Social Charitable Development Associations and Organisations launches the distribution of clothes for orphans

The Federation of Charitable Social Associations and Organisations launched on Saturday morning the distribution of clothes for orphaned children in the governorates.

During the launch, in which a number of associations and institutions belonging to the Federation participated, Brother Saleh Mahmoud Abu Suhail, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour for the Social Welfare Sector, stressed that the Ministry, represented by H.E. Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zaouri, Minister of Social Affairs and Labour, appreciates the efforts exerted by the Federation and the work it does and its contributions in putting a smile on orphan children by distributing clothes to them, noting that the Ministry always calls on international and Arab organisations and businessmen to provide assistance and support to the Federation to enable it to play its role in helping poor families, providing job opportunities and helping the population in light of the drought.

 The head of the community body assisting the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Brigadier General Nasser Ahmed Mohammed Hussein Al Saadi, explained that the Southern Transitional Council is ready to provide support to the Union and the humanitarian work it does, thanking the leadership of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour for its active role in strengthening the role

of the Union by inviting charitable organisations and institutions to provide assistance and support to it.

For her part, Engineer Zahraa Saleh, Assistant Secretary-General and General Supervisor of the sewing workshops in the Federation, explained that clothes will be distributed today for 1051 orphaned girls in various urban and rural governorates, which are the products of 100 sewing workshops belonging to the Federation and productive families, for which an exhibition was previously held on 21 December 2024. She extended her thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour for its continuous support to the Federation and overcoming the difficulties it faces, as well as the Skills Development Fund in Aden, praising the efforts of the President of the Federation, Brigadier General Khaled Haram Abu Sultan, and philanthropists in providing fabric for the sewing workshops, which enabled the Federation to distribute clothes to orphaned children.

It is worth mentioning that the Southern Transitional Council Presidency's auxiliary community body honoured the Union of Societies and Developmental Social Institutions in Tars for its humanitarian and social work.

It is worth mentioning that the Union of Societies and Charitable Social Institutions seeks, through these various humanitarian and charitable activities, to support and promote the community and its development, and help it to overcome the life conditions and the deteriorating economic situation that the country is going through.

The inauguration was attended by a number of officials in the Federation and heads of associations within the framework of the Federation.
