Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Discusses Support for Government Efforts with Aden Inclusive Conference

His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mukhtar Al‑Yafai, held discussions today in Aden with the leadership of the Aden Inclusive Conference on ways to strengthen partnership and the conference’s role in supporting government efforts aimed at development and enhancing stability.
The Minister listened to a brief presentation on the Aden Inclusive Conference as a unifying framework for political and community action in the capital, Aden. The presentation highlighted the conference’s role since its establishment in preparing studies, addressing societal issues, and contributing—through its members—to conflict resolution and the reinforcement of social cohesion.
The Minister emphasized the importance of the conference fulfilling its role through its specialized cadres by organizing seminars and workshops and producing high-quality studies that contribute to restoring and strengthening Aden’s leading role. He noted that such efforts support the orientations of the government and local authorities, stressing that preserving the city’s civilized image is a shared responsibility, particularly in light of the challenges resulting from current conditions and the repercussions of war.
He also addressed the Southern Dialogue, underscoring the importance of inclusive participation as a fundamental pillar for unifying ranks and bridging differences among various political and social components. He added that it contributes to supporting development and enhancing stability, noting that the current phase requires prioritizing dialogue, joint action, and acceptance of others.
Furthermore, the Minister called for launching an effective community movement that assumes its responsibilities in confronting negative phenomena, strengthening social cohesion, and contributing to the consolidation of stability. He highlighted the conference’s societal role as a key partner to official efforts.
The Minister reaffirmed the ministry’s readiness to provide the necessary facilities to enable the conference to implement its programs and activities, commending the ideas and visions presented during the meeting, which reflect a responsible national awareness.
