His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mukhtar Al-Yafaei, discussed today in the capital, Aden, with Maammar Batweel, Senior Advisor at the Forum of Federations, ways to strengthen partnerships that support institutional and community-based work.

During the meeting, they reviewed the programs the forum plans to implement in several governorates across the country. These programs aim to support civil society organizations, empower youth and women, promote the principles of good governance, and raise awareness about the importance of decentralization and different systems of governance.

Minister Al-Yafaei affirmed the ministry’s readiness to provide all possible support and facilitation to help ensure the success of the forum’s initiatives and strengthen cooperation in supporting the capacities of civil society organizations and achieving sustainable developmental impact.

In this context, the minister also stressed the importance of the Forum of Federations playing a supportive and complementary role to government efforts through organizing dialogues and conferences, and preparing specialized studies and research that contribute to the development of effective and stable institutional models.
