Al-Mahrami Reviews the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor’s Plans and Directs the Activation of Monitoring and Evaluation Tools

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Commander Abdulrahman Al-Mahrami, met today, Saturday, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafaei, to review the ministry’s current situation and explore ways to develop its institutional performance and improve the quality of services provided to the most vulnerable groups, foremost among them social welfare programs and labor market regulation.
At the outset of the meeting, Commander Al-Mahrami congratulated Minister Mukhtar Al-Yafaei on gaining the confidence of the Presidential Leadership Council, wishing him success in his duties and emphasizing the ministry’s vital role in strengthening the social protection system, particularly in light of the current challenges that require effective institutional work capable of meeting citizens’ needs efficiently and responsibly.
The meeting reviewed the plans and programs the ministry intends to implement in the upcoming phase, including strengthening partnerships with local and international organizations to enhance the response to humanitarian issues. In this context, Al-Mahrami stressed the need to intensify efforts and accelerate performance to keep pace with economic and social challenges, ensuring a tangible and sustainable impact on the lives of citizens across the liberated governorates.
The member of the Presidential Leadership Council also directed the enhancement of coordination and integration among the various relevant entities and the activation of monitoring and evaluation tools to improve work efficiency. He affirmed his full support for the ministry’s leadership and his commitment to overcoming obstacles and providing all necessary resources to enable it to carry out its national responsibilities to the fullest extent.
