In its extraordinary session held today, Sunday, 21 December 2025, the Council of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor issues a statement affirming its full and absolute endorsement of all steps taken by the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and its Southern Armed Forces on the path towards declaring the State of South Arabia and operating under the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council.

1. The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, along with its offices in the governorates and districts and its affiliated funds, declares its full and absolute endorsement of all steps taken by the Southern Transitional Council and its commitment to operate under the leadership of His Excellency President Commander Aidarus Qassem Al-Zubaidi. The Ministry's leadership affirms its absolute alignment with the aspirations of the people of South Arabia, who yearn for freedom and independence.
2. The Ministry endorses and blesses the military victories in the Wadi and Desert of Hadramout and Al-Mahra Governorate, the takeover of the First Military Region, and the securing of crossings and land borders that have been used as supply lines for the Houthi militias and terrorist organizations for arms, equipment, and drug trafficking.
3. The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor confirms its complete technical, administrative, and organizational readiness. Work is proceeding regularly and under stable conditions. All officials, sector deputies and their assistants, directors of funds and general departments, and all employees are performing all assigned tasks with a high degree of professional discipline, to provide their regular services in an optimal manner.
4. The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor affirms that the Ministry's leadership is part of the Southern Transitional Council and is fully prepared to work under the leadership of His Excellency President Commander, President of the Southern Transitional Council. It declares its endorsement and support for any political stance he takes.
5. The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor calls on the Arab Coalition states, regional and neighboring countries, the international community, and United Nations organizations to respond to the demands and aspirations of the people of the South and their right to establish and declare their independent state—the State of South Arabia—on their entire national territory within its historical borders.
6. The declaration of the State of South Arabia under the leadership of His Excellency President Aidarus Qassem Al-Zubaidi will represent a strategic depth for the protection of Arab national security, a pivotal point for enhancing international security and peace, a safeguard for international navigation routes in the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea, and an active and reliable partner in bolstering international and regional efforts to counter extremism and terrorist organizations.
