Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Meets with Representatives of "Sunnah Al-Nahda" Organization

His Excellency of Social Affairs and Labor, Mukhtar Al-Yafei, met today in the capital, Aden, with representatives of "Sunnah Al-Nahda" Organization. This meeting falls within the framework of the Ministry's directives aimed at enhancing institutional partnership with civil society organizations and unifying efforts in the fields of humanitarian and developmental work.
During the meeting, which was attended by his Deputy, Dr. Sadiq Al-Jama'i, His Excellency Minister Al-Yafei was briefed on the organization's programs and activities in the areas of humanitarian response and sustainable development. The presentation also covered its interventions in several governorates, particularly in the sectors of water and environmental sanitation, health, food security, capacity building, shelter, and camp management and coordination.
His Excellency the Minister stressed the importance of implementing humanitarian and developmental interventions with high quality and efficiency, ensuring beneficiary satisfaction, adhering to approved humanitarian and professional standards, and guaranteeing the sustainable impact of projects.
His Excellency the Minister praised the organization's institutional activity and its contributions to supporting government institutions. He affirmed the Ministry's keenness to create a suitable environment to facilitate the work of civil society organizations that adhere to regulatory standards and to enhance integration with national plans.
His Excellency the Minister highlighted the pivotal role played by civil society organizations during the exceptional circumstances the country has experienced. He called for a focus on the most vulnerable groups and affirmed the Ministry's commitment to providing the necessary facilities for organizations committed to professional and humanitarian standards.
For his part, the Executive Director of the organization, Mohammed Al-Sayed, expressed Sunnah Al-Nahda Organization's aspiration to strengthen its partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and to benefit from its institutional support in developing and implementing humanitarian and developmental programs to serve local communities and promote stability and development.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Development Sector at the Ministry, Fayza Abdulmajeed, the Director of the Legal Affairs Department, and the Director of the Minister's Office.
