Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Meets with Representatives of the Field Medical Foundation

His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mukhtar Al-Yafei, met today with representatives of the Field Medical Foundation (FMF) to discuss mechanisms for strengthening partnership and joint cooperation between the Ministry and the Foundation, in a manner that contributes to the development of humanitarian and development programs and achieves a sustainable impact that serves the community.

During the meeting, Minister Al-Yafei outlined the Ministry’s vision aimed at facilitating procedures and transactions related to organizations and simplifying administrative processes, thereby accelerating project implementation, enhancing efficiency, and strengthening their positive impact on the community and targeted groups.

His Excellency emphasized the importance of gradually transitioning from relief-based projects to sustainable development initiatives, with a focus on funding integrated, multi-sectoral projects that enhance synergy between social, economic, and developmental aspects, and contribute to achieving comprehensive and sustainable development that serves the most vulnerable groups.

For his part, the Chairman of the Foundation, Dr. Moheeb Abbad, expressed his deep appreciation to Minister Mukhtar Al-Yafei, commending the institutional role undertaken by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in regulating humanitarian and development work, facilitating the tasks of national organizations, and expediting the implementation of their projects.
