وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل يعقد اجتماعاً مع وكلاء القطاعات لبحث قضايا العمل

ترأس معالي وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل، الدكتور محمد سعيد الزعوري، اليوم، اجتماعاً موسعاً في ديوان عام الوزارة بالعاصمة عدن، ضم وكلاء قطاعات الوزارة وبحضور منسق منظمة العمل الدولية، السيد علي دهاق، لمناقشة عدد من القضايا المتعلقة بقضايا العمل .
وأكد الوزير الزعوري خلال الاجتماع على أهمية الاستمرار في ترسيخ العمل المؤسسي داخل الوزارة، مثمناً التزام الكوادر الوظيفية وانضباطها، ومشيداً بالأداء المهني رغم التحديات الراهنة. كما شدد على ضرورة تنسيق الجهود بين القطاعات لإنجاز المهام المحددة وفقاً للخطة المرسومة، ورفع التقارير الدورية في مواعيدها المحددة.
وتطرق الاجتماع الى مناقشة اعداد التقارير الخاصة بالاتفاقيات وصكوك العمل التي الغيت وتم سحبها وتحديثها من قبل منظمة العمل و تمت المصادقة عليها والتي هي قيد الانتظار.
كما تم مناقشة الية التنسيق وتعزيز الشراكة مع منظمة العمل الدولية لبرامج ومشاريع الوزارة لعلاقات العمل والقوى العاملة ومعايير العمل اللائق . بالإضافة إلى بحث احتياجات القطاعات المختلفة للدعم اللوجستي وبناء القدرات، لاسيما تلك المتعلقة بسوق العمل، والصحة والسلامة المهنية، وتمكين المرأة اقتصادياً ودمجها في سوق العمل.
من جهته، أشاد منسق منظمة العمل الدولية، السيد علي دهاق، بالنجاحات المتواصلة التي تحققها الوزارة بقيادة الوزير الزعوري، مشيراً إلى الإنجاز النوعي المتمثل بإطلاق المنصة الإلكترونية الخاصة بالوزارة. كما استعرض المهام المقرر تنفيذها خلال العام الجاري، ومن أبرزها تنفيذ مسوحات ميزانية الأسرة وإدماج القوى العاملة، مؤكداً مشاركة فريق الوزارة في هذه الأنشطة. وأكد دهاق حرص المنظمة على تعزيز التعاون المشترك مع الوزارة لتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة، وتبادل الخبرات في مجال الممارسات العمال
Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Holds Meeting with Sector Deputies to Discuss Labor Issues

His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zaouri, chaired an extensive meeting today at the Ministry’s headquarters in the capital, Aden. The meeting included the ministry’s sector deputies and was attended by the International Labour Organization (ILO) Coordinator, Mr. Ali Dhaheq, to discuss a number of labor-related issues.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Zaouri emphasized the importance of continuing to reinforce institutional work within the ministry, praising the commitment and discipline of the ministry’s staff, and commending their professional performance despite current challenges. He stressed the need for coordination between the sectors to accomplish tasks according to the established plan and to submit periodic reports on schedule.
The meeting addressed the preparation of reports concerning labor conventions and instruments that have been canceled, withdrawn, or updated by the ILO, including those that have been ratified or are currently pending.
Discussions also covered mechanisms for coordination and strengthening the partnership with the ILO in programs and projects related to labor relations, the workforce, and decent work standards. Additionally, the meeting explored the logistical support and capacity-building needs of various sectors, especially those concerning the labor market, occupational health and safety, economic empowerment of women, and their integration into the workforce.
For his part, ILO Coordinator Mr. Ali Dhaheq praised the continuous achievements of the ministry under the leadership of Minister Al-Zaouri, highlighting the significant milestone of launching the ministry’s electronic platform. He also reviewed the tasks scheduled for implementation this year, most notably the execution of household budget surveys and workforce integration efforts, affirming the participation of the ministry’s team in these activities. Dhaheq reaffirmed the ILO’s commitment to enhancing joint cooperation with the ministry to achieve sustainable development goals and exchange expertise in labor practices.
